Having a Team Parent is an extremely valuable asset to your team. It is important to identify a team parent who will organize the team and keep both players and supporters informed. Having a team parent allows you to focus fully on coaching, the job that you signed up to do. It also gives your team an opportunity to identify parents/supporters who have great gifts and talents that they would like to share.

Being a team parent is super important and something that I take full pride in. Many years ago, I started off as a Team Parent for a team that had no coaches! But I pushed through, communicating, pressing forward and working hard, helping to create my now 15 yr old first soccer experience with Mt Tabor! I could not have done it without the help of our former Team Parent Board member!

A team parent is that well organized person who volunteers their time to create a smooth sailing soccer season. This person makes sure that coaches have what they need for each game, kiddos have what they need at each game and is our (the MTSC BOARD) link and contact for getting information to and from Coaches and their teams quickly!
